In addition to the Toe by Toe manual, the Cowling family have also created two other resources for those who are needing help with comprehension and spelling.

Stride Ahead, is a follow-on program for readers who can decode words but struggle with comprehension. Stride Ahead helps students move beyond guesswork and truly understand what they’re reading, helping them break free from the frustrating “reading plateau.”

Stareway to Spelling, focuses on the 300 most commonly used words in the English language - many of which aren’t phonetically predictable. This program is designed for students who find spelling especially difficult, helping them build stronger connections between the sight and sound of words so they can spell quickly, confidently, and accurately.
