Metal Earth is made from high quality steel sheets. Each model features amazing detail with parts cut from one or more 4” square steel sheets. Easy to follow instructions are included with each kit and NO GLUE OR SOLDER IS REQUIRED!
Simply snip out the pieces and follow the step-by-step instructions. Bend the tabs through their corresponding connection points.
Sometimes you need to shape a piece first - I just keep a few pens and markers of various widths on hand, so that I can shape a piece around their cylindrical length. You may have to adjust the shape afterwards, but it always looks much neater this way.
The only tool that you will really need is either a pair of small needle-nose pliers, or a pair of flat-ended tweezers - so that you can grab and twist or fold the tabs that hold each model together. Some people prefer tweezers; I personally prefer pliers.
You might also want a small pair of clippers, to remove the laser-cut pieces from their steel sheet - but I like to take my time, and just work each piece loose with my fingers!
