Eureka! The fascinating flora and fauna on this strange island are unlike any you’ve ever seen! How… odd!
As an intrepid investigator of all things idiosyncratic, your job is to explore the island and document these fantastic creatures. On your turn, explore by placing a terrain card somewhere on the island (with the ability to cover up previous terrain!).
Then, place one of your seven flora or fauna tokens on the card you’ve just played. These tokens score based on their surroundings–for example, the pigehorse scores better adjacent to a longer coastline.

Every Turn Matters
With only seven turns, you'll need to maximize every placement. Can you improve another meeple's score while you set up your next? Can you read your opponent's next move and get in their way? Did the table forget about the meeple you placed on turn one, giving you a huge opportunity to improve it later?
High Player Interaction
Players can invest a lot of turns into a specific scoring condition. You might find a way to score big points with the surrounding tiles without them realizing. Alternatively, you can look for clever ways to block them!
Solo Mode Scoring Puzzle
In the solo mode, you have all the time in the world to optimize each creature's placement. Test every combination and go for the high score!
Piggy-Back or Block Where You Can
Because players in Oddland share a map, you may be able to score points off of your opponents' work. You can also be mean and get in their way!
Connect Meeple Territories
You're not allowed to place meeples so that they share territories with another. However, you are allowed to place a tile so that they connect on a later turn. This is one of the most clever ways to capitalize on the board state.
Keep It On The Down Low
You might play a meeple or two sub-optimally, only to take a huge turn later with those tiles. Keep a poker face until then!
