"Kaleidoscope" is a clever flip-book animated deck by fig.23.
Manufactured by USPCC (Bicycle) in a limited edition run of 2000, it features a 1970's throwback design. It is the first deck by fig. 23 to use "standardized" pips with deconstructed classic royals.
It's bold and stark with a retro look (inspired by the creator's favourite Graphic Novelist, Chris Ware) without being very concept-heavy.
Of course, when it is used as a flip-book it animates a lovely kaleidoscope image!
