Foundation - Personal and Family Histories has been written for students living in Australia who are studying History in Kindy and Pre-Primary, ages 4-6.

Book 1 - Family Life has been written specifically for students living in Australia studying History in Year 1. It helps students to investigate their own family in the recent past and present, ages 6-7.

Book 2 - The Past in the Present has been written specifically for students living in Australia studying History in Year 2. It focuses on the remains of the past in the students' local area, ages 7-8.

Book 3 - Community and Remembrance has been written specifically for students living in Australia studying History in Year 3. Its focus is remembering how Australia has changed and stayed the same, ages 8-9.

Book 4 - First Contacts has been written specifically for students living in Australia studying History in Year 4. It explores the movement of, and interaction between, people before the early 1800s, ages 9-10.

Book 5 - The Australian Colonies has been written specifically for students living in Australia studying History in Year 5. Its focus is the founding of British colonies and their development in Australia in the 1800s, ages 10-11.

Book 6 - Australia as a Nation has been written specifically for students living in Australia studying History in Year 6. Its focus is how federation, democracy and migration have contributed to making Australia the nation that it is today, ages 11-12.

Book 7 -The Ancient World has been written specifically for students living in Australia studying History in Year 7. It explores the time between the earliest human communities and the end of the ancient period (c. 60 000BCE - c. 650 CE), ages 11-13.

All of the activity sheets have been carefully constructed to meet the requirements of the Australian National Curriculum. Notes for the teachercan be foundat the beginning of each of the four sections. These notes suggest ways to introduce each sheet, list useful websites, contain answers, and outline possible extension activities.

All of the tasks are varied and visually appealing to maximise student involvement and enjoyment.
